Ingredients
- 3 Cup AP Flour
- 1 TBSP Sugar
- 1 ½ TBSP Baking Powder
- 3 Eggs- seperated
- 2 Cup Whole Milk
- 1 Cup Buttermilk
- 6 TBSP Vegetable Oil
Directions
Step 1
Preheat waffle iron. Mix all ingredients together plus egg yolks. Set aside whites.
Step 2
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Step 3
Gently fold egg whites into batter. Fold in until completely combined.
Step 4
Add batter in about ½ cup portions onto waffle iron. This amount may vary depending on the size of your waffle iron. Timing may vary as well. 3 minutes per waffle is a good estimate.
Step 5
If your waffle iron isn't nonstick, be sure to spray your iron with nonstick spray between each waffle. Continue with step 4 until all batter is used.
Step 6
Leftover waffles can be frozen and reheated in a toaster or in the oven. Use with syrup for breakfast, add ice cream for ice cream waffle sandwiches, or top with yummy chicken gravy for an ultimate comfort food dinner!
